Requirements & Business Analysis

• Lead the elicitation, analysis, validation and documentation of complex business and technical requirements.
  
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with business, product, technology and operational stakeholders.
  
• Analyse current-state capabilities, processes and systems to identify gaps, impacts and improvement opportunities.
  
• Define future-state business and system requirements.
  

Technical & Systems Analysis

• Analyse complex applications, systems, interfaces, integrations and data flows.
  
• Work with architects, developers and technical specialists to define and validate solution approaches.
  
• Produce functional and technical solution designs and supporting documentation.
  
• Analyse API, online and batch interfaces and associated system dependencies.
  
• Perform data mapping and support definition of data requirements.
  

Solution Design

• Develop and evaluate solution options in response to business and technical requirements.
  
• Work collaboratively with Solution Architects and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
  
• Support the transition of requirements and designs into development and implementation.
  

Banking, Cards & Payments

• Apply strong knowledge of Banking, Cards and Payments processes and technology environments.
  
• Analyse impacts associated with card product, processing, payments and scheme changes.
  
• Support initiatives involving Credit, Debit and Prepaid Cards.
  
• Analyse payment scheme requirements and associated system impacts.
  

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
  
• Build effective relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.
  
• Facilitate communication between clients, vendors, technology teams and third parties.
  
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
  

Testing & Implementation

• Support the definition of test requirements and UAT scope.
  
• Work with testing teams to ensure requirements are adequately represented in test scenarios and cases.
  

Documentation

Develop, review and maintain high-quality business and technical documentation, including:

• Business Requirements Documents
  
• Functional Requirements
  
• Process and Data Models
  
• Data Mapping Documents
  
• Gap and Impact Assessments
  
• Change Requests
  

Essential

• Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or Business/IT Consultant.
  
• Strong experience working across complex business and technology environments.
  
• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex systems, processes, interfaces and integrations.
  
• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation skills.
  
• Experience producing functional and technical solution documentation.
  
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation capability.
  
• Ability to operate independently and provide senior-level analysis and advice.
  

Highly Desirable

• Banking or Financial Services experience.
  
• Strong Cards and Payments domain knowledge.
  
• Experience with Credit, Debit and Prepaid Cards.
  
• Card issuing and processing experience.
  
• Visa and/or Mastercard scheme experience.
  
• Experience with disputes and claims processing.
  
• Visa Claims Resolution (VCR) / Visa Resolve Online (VROL) experience.
