- Design, develop, maintain, and support Base24 applications, including ATM, POS, and other card-based transaction systems.
- Customize and configure Base24 software modules to meet client or business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to transaction processing, authorization, and settlement.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability and performance.
- Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, EMV, and other regulatory or security standards.
- Analyze transaction flow and provide insights to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
- Provide on-call support for production systems as needed.
Requirements
- 3-8+ years of experience in Base24 Classic or Base24-eps development and support.
- Strong proficiency in Tandem/HP NonStop (Guardian/OSS) systems.
- Expertise in TACL, TAL, COBOL, C/C++, or Assembly languages.
- Experience with ISO 8583 message formats and transaction switching.
- Familiarity with ATM/POS driving, card management systems, and EFT networks.
- Good understanding of payment processing lifecycle (authorization, clearing, settlement).
- Experience working in high availability, real-time environments.
- Knowledge of security standards and best practices for payment applications.
